Dr. Mike Zuniga

Dr. Mike is a board certified Family Medicine physician and varicose vein specialist. He grew up in the Long Beach area of Southern California, doing his undergraduate education at California State University Long Beach. He received dual degrees in Medical Microbiology and in Chemistry. He then studied abroad, receiving an international medical degree at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico. From there, he traveled to New York Medical College where he received his MD diploma. He did residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, being chief resident while in the program. Wanting to come back home, he has since served the communities of Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, and surrounding communities for the last decade, also being clinical faculty for the UCR school of medicine. Dr. Zuniga is a strong advocate for preventative care, striving to provide the latest, most advanced and scientifically based medical treatments in the most compassionate and friendly way possible with a healthy dose of common sense. In addition to being a physician, Dr. Zuniga is an amateur race car driver, competing on several tracks throughout California and abroad.
